Gas and Supply – Web Crawler Designer

My first job at age 15 was a designer of web crawlers for Gas and Supply, an industrial supply company with locations around the Southeast United States.

I would take vendor product descriptions and information and store the data and then apply the data to our ecommerce site.

Over my time, I helped add descriptions for 3,000 products.

I used scrapy and my own library called ScraperLib, both written in Python.
